The custom KALU dining table is an understated piece designed with proportion and clarity in mind. Shown here in seawashed white oak, it features a seamless plank top and wide rectangular legs that intersect the corners, showcasing the end grain for subtle texture and contrast.
The 1⅜-inch thick tabletop is made from carefully selected boards with minimal knots, offering a smooth, uninterrupted surface. The seawashed finish highlights the grain pattern and lightens the tone of the white oak.
The KALU table is designed to anchor a space without overwhelming it. Made from FAS-grade kiln-dried lumber and available in custom sizes, it can be tailored to suit your space and style.

Wood & Finishes
Oiled Walnut & Oiled White Oak
Finished with a natural hardwax oil that enhances the wood’s tone and texture while offering solid protection against water and stains. This finish has a soft, low-sheen look and a more natural feel under hand. It does require a bit more maintenance—over time, you may want to reapply oil in high-use areas to keep the surface conditioned and protected.
Natural Walnut, White Oak & Ash
Finished with a clear, matte protective coat that creates a durable shell over the wood. This finish is highly resistant to water, stains, and everyday wear. It’s our most low-maintenance option and a great choice for high-traffic areas.
(This includes finishes like Natural, Sunwashed, Seawashed, Blackened, and Antique Harvest.)
Shipping & Handling
Clients in most of New England and the NYC metro area will receive white glove delivery.
For clients outside our white glove region, delivery is arranged by appointment in one of two ways:
Shipper-Assisted Delivery:
Your item will be carefully wrapped and delivered without the need for a pallet, helping reduce packaging waste. The shipper will assist in bringing the piece into your home, though additional help may be needed depending on its size and weight.
Freight Pallet Delivery:
If shipper-assisted delivery isn’t available, your item will be flat-packed on a freight pallet and delivered to your curbside or driveway. You’ll need help unpacking and moving the piece inside, as freight drivers cannot assist with unpacking or placement.
We charge a flat-rate shipping fee for most areas, applied at checkout. If you have any questions about logistics or costs, just reach out—we’re happy to help!
