Regular price $2,445.00

The CHEF butcher block island or cart is handcrafted to order from locally sourced New England sugar maple, chosen for its durability, tight grain, and naturally sanitary properties. The butcher block top is conditioned with our in-house blend of beeswax and food-safe mineral oil, and the shelves are finished with a natural hardening oil. Each island includes a container of our butcher block wax for easy upkeep.

The base can be finished in any Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams color.

The CHEF’s standard design includes:

  • A 3-inch thick edge-grain butcher block top made for direct chopping and slicing
  • A solid maple base with a stationary design, customizable in any paint color
  • A spacious utensil drawer with the Top Knobs Ascendra appliance pull in flat black (custom hardware requests may be possible depending on availability)

Wood & Finishes

Wood Species

Available in maple or walnut. Maple offers light tones with a tight, consistent grain. Walnut features deeper brown tones with natural variation throughout. Walnut is offered as an upgraded option depending on the model. Please reach out for pricing details.

Grain Construction

Offered in edge grain or end grain construction. Edge grain provides a clean, linear look and is well suited for everyday kitchen use. End grain is often preferred for heavier chopping and professional-style prep surfaces. Due to the additional labor and construction involved, end grain is offered as an upgraded option.

Finish & Conditioning

Butcher block tops are conditioned with food-safe mineral oil and our beeswax blend for direct food preparation. Regular oiling is recommended to maintain performance and appearance.

Painted or solid wood bases are finished in your selected color or a protective clear coat, depending on the model.

Shipping & Delivery

Clients in most of New England and the NYC metro area receive white glove delivery. For locations outside our white glove region, delivery is arranged by appointment in one of the following ways:

  • Shipper-Assisted Delivery
Your item is blanket-wrapped and delivered without a pallet. The driver will assist in bringing the piece inside. For larger items, an additional person may be needed.
  • Freight Delivery
If shipper-assisted delivery is unavailable, the item will ship on a pallet and be delivered curbside or to your driveway. The freight carrier does not assist with unpacking or moving the piece indoors.

Flat-rate shipping is applied at checkout for most areas. Delivery access must be confirmed prior to shipment. Clients are responsible for ensuring the piece will fit through doorways, stairwells, and elevators.
