Our handcrafted LARA butcher block cart features an 8-inch drop leaf extension, perfect for adding counter seating and extra workspace in your kitchen. Crafted from locally sourced, kiln-dried sugar maple, the top is approximately 1.5 inches thick and known for its tight grain and resilience, making it ideal for food preparation. The 8-inch drop leaf on the back provides extra counter space, but we offer further customization options to meet your specific needs:

  • Add leaves to both the front and back: This option will remove the drawer for additional space.
  • Add leaves to one or both sides: Expands the work surface without affecting the drawer functionality.

Sugar maple is renowned for its natural sanitary properties, making it the perfect choice for butcher blocks. You can prepare food directly on the surface with confidence. The cart’s sturdy base, also crafted from sugar maple, can be painted in any color to match your kitchen decor. The LARA cart includes a spacious Shaker-style utensil drawer, accented with a black pull. Hardware can be personalized to match your style. The two solid maple shelves are finished with a natural hardening oil, which protects the wood and enhances its natural beauty. To preserve the butcher block, we meticulously condition it with beeswax and food-safe mineral oil, ensuring long-lasting durability and making it ready for immediate use in your kitchen. The cart is perfect for kitchen prep, storage, and even counter seating.

Carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Clients in most of New England and the NY Metro area will receive white glove delivery. Clients who are not in our white glove delivery region will receive this on a freight pallet delivered to your curbside or driveway by appointment. You will need to have help on hand to unpack the pallet and get the product into your home. Freight drivers can not help you unpack or move the product.
