Wood & Finish Options:
Natural White Oak: White oak is a strong, durable hardwood with light to medium beige tones. There is no stain applied to this option. We use a clear matte protective finish on top.
Seawashed White Oak: White oak is a strong, durable hardwood with light to medium beige tones. Shown here in our multi-step Seawashed stain which adds an airy, coastal vibe. We use a clear matte protective finish on top.
Sunwashed Ash: Ash is a strong, durable hardwood with creamy-beige and gray-beige tones. Shown in our Sunwashed stain which lightens and brightens the wood. We use a clear matte protective finish on top.
Oiled Natural Walnut: Northeastern American black walnut is a durable hardwood with natural medium to deep brown tones. We protect our walnut with a hardwax oil finish.
Blackened Ash: Ash is a strong, durable hardwood. We are now offering ash with a naturally derived opaque blackened tone (no stain) and satin finish.
Nutmeg Table Company dining tables, coffee tables and butcher block islands are custom made in our Connecticut workshop by a small team of dedicated craftspeople. Our thick butcher block tops are made completely in our workshop with sugar maple beams that we have specialty cut at local mills and kiln dry ourselves. Other shops use tops they source from big box stores. Contact us here for additional information or questions.

Carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Clients in most of New England and the NY Metro area will receive white glove delivery. Clients who are not in our white glove delivery region will receive this on a freight pallet delivered to your curbside or driveway by appointment. You will need to have help on hand to unpack the pallet and get the product into your home. Freight drivers can not help you unpack or move the product. Please reach out with any questions prior to purchasing.
