NANN Butcher Block Cart with Drop Leaf Extension

Our handcrafted NANN butcher block cart, featuring a drop leaf extension, is crafted from locally sourced, kiln-dried sugar maple. The butcher block top, made with edge grain raw sugar maple beams approximately 3 inches thick, offers a robust and resilient surface for all your kitchen tasks. The drop leaf adds an additional 12 inches of counter space and can be added to one or both sides, providing flexibility in your kitchen layout. Renowned for its tight grain and natural sanitary properties, sugar maple is the premier choice for butcher blocks, allowing you to safely cut and chop directly on the surface. The cart’s sturdy base, also crafted from sugar maple, can be painted in any color of your choice (shown here in black). The NANN cart features a spacious Shaker-style utensil drawer, accented with a solid iron pull in black, though hardware can be customized to your liking. The design is completed with two solid maple shelves, each finished with a natural hardening oil. To preserve the natural beauty of the butcher block, it is conditioned with a blend of beeswax and food-safe mineral oil, ensuring longevity and making it ready for immediate use in your kitchen.
