Our custom KENT butcher block kitchen island, handcrafted from premium walnut, is designed to meet the needs of culinary enthusiasts. The 3+ inch thick edge grain butcher block top offers both beauty and functionality, making it perfect for chopping and slicing directly on the wood. The KENT kitchen island is supported by four elegantly turned legs, giving it a timeless look that complements any kitchen. A solid walnut shelf underneath provides ample storage space for kitchenware or decorative items, finished with a natural hardening oil for durability. The island also features two spacious drawers with Blum undermount drawer slides for a smooth, soft-close experience, and 7-inch cup pulls that can be customized to your style. Each drawer is crafted using dovetail joinery, a hallmark of traditional woodworking! To preserve the island’s pristine condition, the raw butcher block top is treated with a blend of beeswax and food-safe mineral oil, creating a natural protective finish that enhances the walnut’s rich tones and grain. Carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Clients in most of New England and the NY Metro area will receive white glove delivery. Clients who are not in our white glove delivery region will receive this on a freight pallet delivered to your curbside or driveway by appointment. You will need to have help on hand to unpack the pallet and get the product into your home. Freight drivers can not help you unpack or move the product.
