Crafted with premium oiled walnut, our custom WALT butcher block kitchen island with an end-grain butcher block top. End-grain butcher blocks are the choice of many professional chefs due to their durability. The end-grain is “self-healing” and knife-friendly. They also happen to be stunningly beautiful! You can cut and chop directly on the surface of your table. To ensure your island remains pristine, the raw butcher block is carefully treated with a blend of beeswax and food-safe mineral oil, providing a natural, protective finish. The two solid walnut shelves are finished with a natural hardening oil. The pulls shown are Restoration Hardware “Asbury Gin” pulls. Carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. Clients in most of New England and the NY Metro area will receive white glove delivery. Clients who are not in our white glove delivery region will receive this on a freight pallet delivered to your curbside or driveway by appointment. You will need to have help on hand to unpack the pallet and get the product into your home. Freight drivers can not help you unpack or move the product. Please reach out with any questions prior to purchasing.
