CHEF Custom Maple Butcher Block Cart

Our custom CHEF butcher block cart will be made to order just for you with locally sourced New England sugar maple. The butcher block top is made with edge grain, raw sugar maple beams, approximately 3″ thick. Sugar maple is the superior wood for butcher block use as it is a resilient, tight-grained, naturally sanitary hardwood. You can cut and chop directly on the surface of your cart. The base is solid maple and can be painted any color. Shown in black, Sherwin Williams’ “Spicy Hue” and Benjamin Moore’s “Subway Tile”. The large utensil drawer has a shaker style face, that glides smoothly to reveal a spacious storage area. The standard appliance pulls are solid bronze in matte black, however, pulls can be customized to your liking. The casters are vintage-style black for mobility. The CHEF can also be made as a stationary base for a more permanent fixture. Your wood will have its own unique characteristics based on the lumber from the mill. The raw butcher block is conditioned with beeswax and food safe mineral oil. The two solid maple shelves are finished with a natural hardening oil.
