The 3-inch thick, solid walnut, edge grain butcher block top is designed to handle everyday chopping and meal prep with ease. The island is supported by four elegantly turned legs, and a solid walnut shelf below provides ample storage for kitchenware or decor, finished with a natural hardening oil for added durability.
It features two spacious drawers with Blum undermount soft-close slides, crafted with traditional dovetail joinery. The drawers are finished with 7-inch cup pulls, which can be customized to match your style.
To preserve its condition, the butcher block top is treated with our in-house butcher block wax, a blend of beeswax and food-safe mineral oil, enhancing the walnut’s rich tones and natural grain. We offer two choices for our butcher blocks: sugar maple and walnut. Sugar maple is our standard option, prized for its durability, resistance to scratches and water, and ease of cleaning. Walnut offers the same durability and functionality with a warm, rich brown color and naturally antimicrobial properties. Yes, we offer both edge grain and end grain butcher block tops. Edge grain has a sleek, uniform look, while end grain features a distinctive checkered appearance.
