Our modern farmhouse BRIT trestle table is custom-made for you using premium American hardwoods. This table features a sturdy trestle design, with three legs for added support on larger sizes and two legs for smaller tables. On larger tables, the center leg is slightly inset to maintain a balanced, proportional look.

The 1⅜-inch thick beveled top adds a sleek, modern edge to the design. Walnut tables are treated with a water and stain-resistant hardwax oil that enhances the rich tones and natural grain of the wood. For white oak and ashwood tables, we apply a clear matte finish to preserve their natural beauty while providing the same durable resistance to water and stains.

Built for durability and timeless appeal, the BRIT table is crafted from premium FAS kiln-dried hardwoods. Available in custom sizes with options for table extensions and matching benches, the BRIT table can be tailored to perfectly fit your dining space. Contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Can I customize the size of my dining table?

Absolutely! We specialize in creating dining tables tailored to your space. Whether you need it longer, shorter, wider, or narrower, we’ll craft the perfect size for you—just share your preferred dimensions!

What materials are used for your tables?

Our tables are handcrafted from premium solid American hardwoods—no veneers, particle board, or shortcuts. We proudly use sustainably sourced wood for lasting beauty and durability.

Do you make benches?

Yes! We craft both full-length and tuck-in benches designed to coordinate with your dining table. Share your preferred size and style, and we’ll create a bench that complements your space.

Clients in most of New England and the NY Metro area will receive white glove delivery.

For clients outside our white glove delivery region, items are typically delivered by appointment in one of two ways:

  1. Shipper-Assisted Delivery: In most cases, your item will be carefully wrapped and delivered without the need for a pallet, eliminating pallet waste. The shipper will assist in bringing the item into your home, but additional help may be required depending on the size and weight of the item.
  2. Freight Pallet Delivery: When shipper-assisted delivery is not available, your item will be flat-packed on a freight pallet and delivered to your curbside or driveway. You will need help to unpack the pallet and move the product into your home, as freight drivers cannot assist with unpacking or placement.

Each piece from Nutmeg Table Company is made to order in our Connecticut workshop. Measurements are approximate, and slight variations may occur, reflecting the unique nature of handcrafted furniture.
