Introducing the epitome of culinary craftsmanship: FINO, our maple butcher block kitchen island or cart. Crafted with precision and designed for versatility, this cart is a chef’s dream companion in any kitchen.

Description

Our beautiful FINO butcher block kitchen island or cart will be made just for you with locally salvaged, kiln dried maple & poplar. The butcher block counter is made with raw sugar maple beams, approximately 3″ thick. Sugar maple is the superior wood for butcher block use as it is a resilient, tight-grained, naturally sanitary hardwood. You can cut and chop directly on the surface of your table. The maple ranges from rustic to very rustic. Your wood will have its own unique characteristics based on the lumber from the mill. The raw butcher block is conditioned with beeswax and food safe mineral oil. The two solid maple shelves are finished with a natural hardening oil.

The base is solid maple and can be painted any color. Our standard FINO comes with one matte black drawer pull. Side pulls can be added from the dropdown menu below. If you would prefer a different finished pull please leave a message at the checkout.

Nutmeg Table Company dining tables, coffee tables and butcher block kitchen islands are custom made in our Connecticut workshop by a small team of dedicated craftspeople. Our tables are made of solid, American hardwoods – no veneers, imported or engineered wood like you will find in the small print of popular retail sites.
